If there's a heaven for birds, then this could be it.

My paintings have a sense of the dramatic.  I love to place birds centre stage against backgrounds saturated in light and billowing forms. There is only a suggestion of background with colour and form holding the birds in place. It's well known that birds can see more of the spectrum than us, so I like the idea that their world is more vibrant.

Essentially, these paintings are more about the joy and importance of being in the here and now and the strong bonds we share through friendship and kinship.

After almost twenty years painting from my own gallery in Brighton, I now live on the South Downs and work from my home studio.

I'm currently represented by the following Galleries:

The Old School Gallery, Alnmouth

Lilford Gallery, Canterbury

Arundel Framing, Sussex

Paxton and Glew, Brighton
